PlunketLine is a toll free telephone helpline that offers information, support and advice to parents and caregivers 24 hours, seven days a week.

When you call PlunketLine your call will be answered by a Plunket Nurse, who is a registered nurse with expertise and specialist postgraduate qualifications in child health.

PlunketLine has been in operation for over 12 years. It continues to be a highly valued and respected provider of child health advice and support for parents, and a key component of the Plunket service.

HealthLine

After the hours of Midnight an alternative to call is the HealthLine. It is a free, 24 hours a day, telephone health advice service. The HealthLine is staffed by registered nurses to assess a child or person’s condition and their immediate health needs. They can recommend the best course of action and a time-frame in which to take that action.They can also provide general health information and location of services.
