Funding & Fundraising
Plunket services are provided free to all families.
Government funding pays for the salary of your Plunket nurse. All other expenses – the Plunket rooms, maintenance/cleaning and newsletters are all met by your local Plunket’s committee through the annual appeal and other fundraising activities.
As you can appreciate it costs a great deal to provide such a wide variety of Plunket community services. Any contribution you can make towards this cost by supporting the fundraising activities of your Plunket committee is most appreciated. Our Plunket rooms all have donation boxes so if you can a gold coin donation at each visit would be much appreciated. All funds raised assist the committee to meet costs and continue to provide your local Plunket services.
