Do I need to book?

Yes.  Please phone 489 9778 for all questions and bookings.  

What does it cost?

The general help and support service is free but we do appreciate donations. Some groups and workshops have charges – please refer to the table with our services information.

What are the staff qualifications?

The staff members are either Plunket nurses or Karitane nurses. Some staff are also lactation consultants. They have extensive experience  in caring for babies and children and knowledge of the issues that arise with babies and children.

Do I need a referral?

No, in most cases you can self-refer. However, for babies under 6 weeks a written referral by fax or email from your LMC is preferred.

Where do I park?

There is some parking in the driveway (off Shakespeare Road). Otherwise, try Thornton Road and other side streets but avoid 30 minute areas. Please do not park in the White Cross carpark.
